06/07/2024 @MinorLife10: There is some eerie beauty in the old Minecraft that is hard to restore in any modern version. Sure, you can make texturepacks, reduce view distance, shrink resolution to 800x600, but it will only get you closer to the goal never achieving it fully. Even when I watch some fun and joking videos of old Minecraft, it feels somewhat weird and alien, at least compared to modern counterpart.
I love old Minecraft. Nothing beats pre-1.8 and especially pre-Beta1.8

It had very few content compared to nowadays, to the point where it gave off this mysterious vibe in regards to what is actually going on in this virtual world. But now, the game has been optimized and has gotten so much content to the point where it no longer feels mysterious. It no longer feels like you are dropped into this weird random world all by yourself. Now, it's full of stuff and therefore removes this feeling of loneliness
