THE CHEST'S CONTENTS ARE IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE AS IN THE CHEST IN "basement" BUT WITH REDSTONE. ASSUMING THAT THESE ARE CONPONENTS TO SOME SORT OF DEVICE/EXPERIMENT WE HAVE 2 COMPONENTS: GUNPOWDER AND REDSTONE.
Another thing i noticed was that we know what happened to john and what he was doing.
He did experiments on this entity, messed up, and now it hauntes them, and is very probably the cause of his dissapearance.
