"Minecraft Playstation Edition" is a game developed by Mojang Studios in the Year 1998 in a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment for the Playstation Console released in 1994, this game was a pre-cursor to the classic 'Minecraft' of 2009, although not many people are aware of it due to it being pulled from store shelves just a year after release with only a 1000 or so copies ever being sold, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a copy at a retro game store about a month ago, here's my experience with the title.
If you'd like to play the game yourself via emulation here's a link to a rom to download as finding a physical copy like myself is nearly impossible to do: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/mcsx-minecraft-ps1-edition
Thanks to xKazIsKooIx for ripping the game files to allow others to play the game
Any help to learn more about the game would be appreciated as I'm still learning about it myself and plan to continue my exploration into the title more on this channel

03/05/2024 @bbredster: Congratulations on your success man fr
03/05/2024 @Martynn95: Alex! i have found a copy of this strange game on a classic games store, and when i was looking on the ISO.
Found this same song and i found out it's name was "Fin dag". Wich it means "Nice Day", probably it's beacuse of the way how the song sounds or something.
03/05/2024 @valuerie: Very C418 inspired, a strong addition to the catalogue. The textures being used on these "demake" songs are perfect for the era. As a long time C418 fan this sits right next to his work very well.
03/05/2024 @_memoryleak_: their demade because of the PS1 soundchip; it sports a few ADPCM channels which play samples concurrently, meaning that you cannt just play a song in it’s entirety as that would hog a lot of RAM unless it’s hypercompressed or something
03/05/2024 @RyzesTechZone: Banger as always 🔥
03/05/2024 @quantumAntylum: I Love this game I didint know it was for ps1
03/05/2024 @skuak34: Good work :)
03/05/2024 @CT_Doll: Please don't tell me that this music was made by the Game's AI, such ways as SM64 CLASSIFIED, very cool to see.
08/05/2024 @OnceMemorableOldRareImage: It is very catchy but it doesn’t belong in real Minecraft which is why I love it it’s so close to normal Minecraft music yet so far away
