The world date changed...
"Minecraft Playstation Edition" is a game developed by Mojang Studios in the Year 1998 in a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment for the Playstation Console released in 1994, this game was a pre-cursor to the classic 'Minecraft' of 2009, although not many people are aware of it due to it being pulled from store shelves just a year after release with only a 1000 or so copies ever being sold, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a copy at a retro game store about a month ago, here's my experience with the title.

02/05/2024 @professorparabeetle: Like other people have pointed out, this situation is very similar to the one with Marvin’s house in Petscop, in which the player explores 3 different versions of Marvin’s house in different points in time, including a birthday party like this one does.

As you stated on the video, there is a huge possibility that the game is trying to tell all of us some sort of story or some sort of events that might connect to why the game is like it is or something, just speculation on my end, but it can be a possibility.

It replaced the tutorial originally, so I guess the game overwrote it because you started playing on your own world and didn't need to learn how to play the game. Then now you have progressed on your own save and entered the slip it's changed again. Perhaps it's tied to advancements? I'm skimming through the footage of the first episode on the side and it doesn't seem like you earn any. I can't see there only being one more update for reaching the end though. It wouldn't seem like a complete story

These moments frozen in time, but for what purpose? Definitely some kind of ghost in the machine, and I wonder if Brian would know anything, it's his engine after all.
02/05/2024 @iitsAP: I actually did some digging on these worlds by extracting the ROM data a couple weeks back- it seems that they're actually stored on the disc itself, and there's 10 or so (possibly more, my memory is a bit fuzzy) of these worlds.
They're all different depictions of the same house with different dates, all the way up to the supposed original release date of this version of Minecraft.
They tell a very interesting story that's definitely worth looking into- I feel like the developer(s) wanted this to be seen. From what I can tell, they're programmed to randomly replace the tutorial world, maybe in ascending order?
I'm not sure if it's possible to forcibly load these worlds on actual hardware, but it's definitely worth looking into via emulation if you can.
I've been able to piece together parts of the story myself, but I'd be interested in some extra opinions.

02/05/2024 @fisherninjajk7261: One thing I think is worth noting the spooky ghost creature thing does not show up in these levels. I’m not sure what that could indicate but it seems like the entity doesn’t want him to go into the second disc, but it does not mind him exploring these levels.

09/05/2024 @KefkeWren: So, there's very clearly a party in progress. The TV is "on" this time (showing a blue screen instead of black). The snacks have been kept stocked up, and there are no longer three cookies missing. The bathroom is no longer set up for "mommy time" (candles lit, a bottle of "wine" by the filled tub). There are "bugs" in the garage and they're getting into the house, suggesting maybe no one has used the workshop in there for a long time? The boy's room has been cleaned up...possibly it's his birthday party and so it's expected his friends will see his room. However there's also a crib in the room now, and given all the decorations are blue, I suspect this is a baby shower/gender reveal or first birthday celebrating a new addition to the family.
Seems like this world is less "the scene of the incident" and more a series of snapshots in time.
