Minecraft PSX - RAW ARCHIVE FOOTAGE [2] - 15-01-24

My girlfriend recently decided to join the Archival effort by recording her experience of the game running on the ePSXe - Enhanced PSX Emulator, oddly enough the only PSX Emulator that can run Minecraft PSX Here are her experiences. "Minecraft Playstation Edition" is a game developed by Mojang Studios in the Year 1998 in a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment for the Playstation Console released in 1994, this game was a pre-cursor to the classic 'Minecraft' of 2009, although not many people are aware of it due to it being pulled from store shelves just a year after release with only a 1000 or so copies ever being sold, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a copy at a retro game store about a month ago, here's my experience with the title. • 02/05/2024 @ElectricoGamez: I've caught wind of strange anomalies being caught on Minecraft PSX when ran on a Playstation 2 (I guess that's why its PSX and not PS1) and since the PS2 is much more powerful than the PS1, it will probably run the game faster.

• 02/05/2024 @Korushin-V: Do you have a good enough PC to live stream? I'd love to see a live stream of this version. Also, did you know the PS1 had a mouse controller? There's no guarantee it will work with this game but it's worth a try if you can get one

• 02/05/2024 @land3021: 10:44 That's a waste of wood... you outta use 2 sticks(cause one stick does 1/2 and 2 together does one whole, granted,4 sticks do not unfortunately add up to the amount 2 planks do which is 3, they add up to 2, so the most utilitarian thing would be to use sticks you get from leaves) to cook one log into charcoal and use that charcoal to cook 8 things. Only reason I can see for using logs is that planks smelt & cook less in this version. But even then, charcoal probably still cooks and smelts 8 things I'd imagine, unless, yeah, again, there's either some weird stuff in this version of the game that makes that not the case. Granted, as a noob, there's no way of knowing this as it's never stated anywhere(I think, check if you'd like, ngl it took me far too long to figure out that lava cooks and smelts 100 of whatever you put in, but you gotta time stuff just right plus split stuff into stacks of 64 and 36... atleast, that's how I manage it. P.S. other things made of wood cook and smelt a unique amount of things too(yes this includes crossbows, regular bows, wooden tools, wooden swords, stairs, slabs, fences, fence gates, doors, crafting tables... and whatever else works). Regular logs do the same amount as 1 plank, cooking and smelting 1 & 1/2 individually each, 3 when you've got 2 planks or two logs. And all of this applies to Java edition, as I don't know for Bedrock, I can only assume it's the same(and I'm fairly certain in that assumptions since I played it at one point, but can't say if I'm right cause it's been a while). Anyways, yeah, I hate wasting stuff I don't need on smelting&cooking in Minecraft. 27:59 It irks me so much still!! 28:36 This too! A diamond pickaxe should be top priority... although since this was before the combat update... probably a mute point. 28:58 Ngl I actually don't know how much repair a stone sword does to another... I did have a document where I math'd it out in a creative mode world, but, yeah i think I lost it...

• 02/05/2024 @MrZilvis78: I'm gonna say a hot take now as I have said before this is a clever way to do a...thing like this no worries but most everyone knows 99% of streamers and youtubers do not have signifigant others be it from making content takes up too much time or focus is more on the content than real life,especially true from minecraft youtubers lol you can give a couple examples maybe but I can give 20 examples of people seemingly single the last decade to make mc content just saying so again this is clevermore content on the channel,it does seem to be presented...different so yeah gg but if you know you know btw still commendable doing these i get freaked out still by creepers so doing vids like this would never happen for me lol
