My girlfriend recently decided to join the Archival effort by recording her experience of the game running on the ePSXe - Enhanced PSX Emulator, oddly enough the only PSX Emulator that can run Minecraft PSX
Here are her experiences.
"Minecraft Playstation Edition" is a game developed by Mojang Studios in the Year 1998 in a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment for the Playstation Console released in 1994, this game was a pre-cursor to the classic 'Minecraft' of 2009, although not many people are aware of it due to it being pulled from store shelves just a year after release with only a 1000 or so copies ever being sold, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a copy at a retro game store about a month ago, here's my experience with the title.
If you'd like to play the game yourself via emulation here's a link to a rom to download as finding a physical copy like myself is nearly impossible to do: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/mcsx-minecraft-ps1-edition
Thanks to xKazIsKooIx for ripping the game files to allow others to play the game
Any help to learn more about the game would be appreciated as I'm still learning about it myself and plan to continue my exploration into the title more on this channel

Love the dedication of this channel
04/05/2024 @s0n1cd3v: Hmm interesting, from what I can notice in the new raw footage is the following:
-New Pig Based Mob in the slip having both a bow and part of armor while not being a zombie either (Hostile, while zombie pigmen are not at the moment, the strangest thing is that they do not get mad when this mob gets attacked like they would with one of their own).
-Edit: Apparently there is also baby pig based mobs, from what I can notice or speculate on, I think these are normal βpigmenβ that have not gone through zombification like the others, it is possibly an exclusive feature to this version as in modern Minecraft, pigmen do not exist anymore, and when they did I do not remember both a zombified and not zombified versions, just the zombified one, quite interesting to say the least, hmmm.
-Apparently herobrine can be spotted in the slip too now.
-It took a little longer but some of the entities spotted on the documentation seem to be appearing here now as well, maybe it has to do something with real hardware (PS1) having the entities more hostile / more active while in emulated hardware they are less active, just speculating here.
PS: This is definitely getting more and more interesting each episode, both documentation episodes and raw footage episodes, definitely engaged to know what the game will throw at us going forward!
04/05/2024 @shadowchasernql: you know i was watching this and i realized i played a game alot like this back in '05-'06, i think it was for my DS,
but it was such a long time ago i can't remember, i think it was called "Order of the Stone", but that can't be right.
