"Minecraft Playstation Edition" is a game developed by Mojang Studios in the Year 1998 in a partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment for the Playstation Console released in 1994, this game was a pre-cursor to the classic 'Minecraft' of 2009, although not many people are aware of it due to it being pulled from store shelves just a year after release with only a 1000 or so copies ever being sold, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a copy at a retro game store about a month ago, here's my experience with the title.

I feel the entities present on this build of the game are getting more aggressive each day, which is definitely not a good sign. Can’t wait for more, hang in there and good luck, I know it must be way scarier to play in person.
PS: At this rate your PS1 could get wrecked, that amount of constant disk loading and glitched BIOS startup can’t be good.
02/05/2024 @_memoryleak_: iirc the startup sound’s function is to inform the user if the system’s working correctly and the disc is read correctly. it looks like the game needs to load lots of data off the disc and store all of it inside of RAM, occasionally re-reading data once the old data is no longer needed. maybe the game managed to save something inside of ROM (some “dark magic” trickery so the game can run at all?)

It definitely could be a possibility, I have found it weird lately how such a game could run so well on the PS1 while fan attempts have struggled to do so on newer systems for quite a while now, there has to be some trickery to make the game run at all, and maybe you are correct on your statement.

When they get up, the little steve in the corner begins to mimic their movements in the house.
