1/3 = .333333333…
3(1/3) = 1
3(.3333333333…) = .99999999…
Ergo: 3(1/3) = 3(.3333333…) = 1 = .999999…
This debate waged on in Blizzard’s forums for years, and this is the proof the Blizzard used to end the debate. There are others, as mentioned above, but again, this one is the easiest to understand.
