08/15/2021 @Pezmage1: My daughter recently turned 10, as a Christmas present this year we got her a mid-line gaming laptop (she likes Roblox, Minecraft, the like). I put my steam account on her laptop and downloaded some of my old games, put her in front of Portal 1, told her it was amazing. She didn't quite get it at first, went back to her other games. The other night she told me she had beat it, gave it another shot, it clicked, she got through it. She talked about how she loved the song at the end. So I started talking to her about how if she liked the first one, she'll love the second one. She started it last night and already loves Wheatley. She had just woken GLaDOS back up before going to bed. It's fun to be able to watch her play the game and figure things out herself, kind of like re-experiencing the game for the first time. Not sure if anyone out there in the internet cares or not, just thought I'd share.
