So more subtle things like terminology don't get known very easily
It was a shocker to me once I realized those were some kids chores every week (cutting wood, raking acres of land, etc)

In these sorts of areas, you can get in trouble taking care of your own property
This further extends to certain rented houses, since sometimes they can be under a lease agreement, any deviation from what was contracted would get the tenant in trouble
It redefines property ownership and highlights the culture around it
And even besides that, sometimes you grow up in a concrete jungle where the only trees you see are in planter boxes. Basically, don't take anything for granted, some people don't even have a yard to take care of.
