11/06/2023 @TK-of6id: Hello! You mentioned one of the problems with your wheat farm was the water freezing yes? May I suggest using waterlogged slabs instead of just the water? It keeps the water from freezing and it still hydrates farmland. Hoped this helps!

1: do a farm underground, but have glass over it connecting it to outside light (good if you need to stay indoors for a while)
2: have torches practically right next to the water
3: if there’s seagrass nearby, I think you can place it in the water and the water won’t freeze

Really adds some nice detail to it, although it seemed kind of out of place... maybe you should try to experiment with other blocks in your future builds aswell! I highly recommend the "brick" block for structures like a well!

11/06/2023 @apollyonnoctis1291: A good suggestion I’d have for monstie issues is to place torches all around the outside of your house as well. Light sources lower the spawn rate of monsters, which is why dark places such as caves have them. Not only that, but having lights around your house might help you see at night and help spot things that might be lurking in the dark.
Another good suggestion I would have is for you to have a ‘panic shelter’, somewhere hidden away that you could run to if the monsters are closing in. Maybe even hide it under something regular mobs struggle to get past but you can like say, water. If you put a ladder in a 1 block hole, then pour water, the ladder stops the water, so you could make a secret base.

Name 1: Chrysanthemum! Its got a feminine touch and brings my mind back to that one book i read in childhood. Nostalgia seems to be a theme here, and it sure does bring back that feeling of hazy memories :] can also be Crys or Anthe for short, whichever you prefer!
Name 2: Byte! For your storage issues, and because dogs bite sometimes.
Name 3: Cerberus! Harkoning back to the greek myth, your puppy protects your home base like the gates of the underworld! Kinda a strong impression id say.

i wanna suggest you build an igloo since youre in a snowy area, it really keeps the world feeling more lived in, sorta contextualized in a way, like with your towers. Those igloos could have a really deep well in them like some other comments suggested, i guess innovating on another idea

mossy cobblestone is probably form a glitched spot where the biome is confused with a different biome.
I also miss that good old Minecraft nostalgic feel and the old style of Minecraft lets play:)
