01/06/2024 @mogwaibalenciaga: the presence of blue flowers indicates a lot to me. obviously there ARE blue flowers in real life, but due to the obviously supernatural elements of these events, i believe they are particularly meant to symbolise a blue rose, which is impossible in nature. in the twin peaks franchise by david lynch, the blue rose is meant to represent something impossible, and their presence indicates something that isnt real, a construct, a simulacrum.

Blue roses are not meant to exist. They're made genetically, impossible to replicate in nature.
So while they are a symbol of love, they're also the symbol of impossibility, unnatural occurrences, and the unreachable infinite.
I think the black figure with the creepy smile is The First, the unkind one, trying to lure Andrew to a fate similar to Chris'
Chris is the Second, the faceless figure. He's the one placing the signs down in an effort to draw Andrew away and warn him of what happened to himself. A supernatural occurrence, one that is not supposed to happen in nature. All to save his friend from a fate he has already suffered. Chris is the Blue Rose - Defying all natural order to send one final warning.
Andrew will be the Third.
01/06/2024 @LandonBurke-l1n: I’m late but something about this series is just so unique with its execution is incredible.
I love how this feels both like a let’s play but also documented footage of something odd happening. I especially love Andrews’s character. He’s both rightfully freak out but is kinda realistic in knowing that despite what he’s dealing is something that taking a toll on him. He clearly knows it’s just a game and that ideal is keeping him sane and think straight.
I also love his cinematic this is aswell, the usage of Music and sfx is such an incredible detail. The scenes that take place almost feels like a Ovid too which isn’t a bad thing that takes me out of the experience.
Can’t wait to see tgis through till the end.

(If you didn’t see at 4:02 we see the « Chris shadow » in the background. I think that the first guy shadow is the one with the smile and « Chris Shadow » is the one with no smile. Finally at 11:15 Andrew say that Chris didn’t put this flowers, so it could say that Chris put mosty cobblestone and The first guy put blue flower.

06/06/2024 @Couriday: I looked into old minecraft versions for this. Pocket Edition had roses until 0.9.0, when all blue roses were automatically converted to poppies. Signs were added in 0.6.0 in a writable state. With buckets being added in 0.7.0, this narrows it to 2, since otherwise any well would need to be built on water, or had water cheated in. But then we reach the greenhouse. It screams out something is wrong. Vines were added in 0.9.0, when roses were switched from their blue state to being poppies. Flower pots weren't added until 0.12.1. It's a scene that could never have existed, at any point. And yet, it stands, seemingly unremarkable. Right until you step inside.

my take on this is that there are 2 of these creatures, i'll call them 'Watchers'. there are likely more but there are 2 that spectate Andrew, who is likely in danger from something or the Watchers, being Chris or supposedly Chris (the Watcher we see this video says that Chris is with him, claiming by 'your friend and i' and how they mention Chris) and this new Watcher, who we only have seen this video, supposedly
the blue flowers obviously symbolise something, someone theorised secrecy, it is a reoccuring theme so it obviously has some sort of meaning to it - i believe that it symbolises something important, secrecy or danger, as we see that whenever we do see blue flowers it is when there is a Watcher nearby (smiling fellow from the window this video), at the wells sometimes and on trails, sometimes.
Andrew is obviously not Andrew, or so his channel is not Andrew, as we see throughout the livechat of the premiere, Andrew's account is talking in chat- but they do not talk as if they were from Andrew's perspective at all. another hint of this is that he claims in the video that he is not recording for his viewers, but rather himself, in case he has to retrace the steps back. however, why would this premiere? obviously it's an ARG so we know that it pretty much is for the viewers, but otherwise, Andrew would not premiere this. he has no need to. so, i personally believe that whichever of the Watchers on his account uploaded said file before he could or they reuploaded it as a premiere for the viewers as even though Andrew could keep all his videos private, no matter what he does the Watchers can obviously reupload the videos, as we've seen before they can access his files, for that one instance a Watcher put a video titled 'HELLO' into his files and he shows us it on one of the videos, and so if they can do that, they can likely access the video files of these videos
we have seen 2 Watchers. Chris, or so we believe it to be Chris, is likely the one that is just pure black, and another entity that Andrew does not know as a friend or otherwise, who has a smile on it's face - we have never seen this as a reoccuring Watcher. i also believe there is symbolism here, as this strange new Watcher has the ability to talk, something we have never seen before in the other Watcher who has only made ominous appearances. Andrew does not reply to the Watcher, and only watches him, as he talks in chat, which i believe may have something off about it, he could've been muted or maybe he just didn't want to engage in a conversation with this Watcher
Chris (or so they say) as a Watcher has no face like the smiling Watcher, which i also believe that that symbolises that Chris cannot communicate through chat or any other means, being muted to Andrew. in Letheprotocol we see from a Watcher's POV, though now knowing there is actually two Watchers, it is likely it could be Chris, who cares more about Andrew, or the other smiling Watcher
another thing i saw in the comments of the previous video, 'A familiar place' is that they theorised that Andrew is not Andrew as a whole, as Andrew seems to have a different sounding tone similar to when the series first started when he talks after coming out of wells

anyway, my opinion on this video was that it was hyped for and ykw? people hyping for it were totally right, this stuff gave me the CHILLS!!!!! this is the best ARG on minecraft right now, methinks

Historically blue roses were often used to symbolise something mysterious or unattainable, since actual blue roses don't exist in nature. This could be entirely coincidental of course, I'm not sure how common knowledge that symbolism is today

That world with the blue flowers also might be the that person's world since those flowers arent usualy used by chris. That person must have changed alot. 02/06/2024 @explosivesraspberry6795: pro if you take a print screen of the thing at 2:07 and enlarge it (even ms paint will work) you can see its the shadow entity from i believe the forth video on the channel. the one with the white smiling face. which means that the pure black figure and this smiling entity are different being/ which probably means that one is the "first" and another is the "second" considering the pure black figure's over all neutral appearances (meaning at no point does it appear to want to threaten Andrew) it is probably Chris. but every time the one with the smile appears it is shown in a much more threatening stance (the first time he appears he was literally right outside the window much closer than how far the black figure gets) im willing to bet it's the "first"
I am inclined to believe that this world is actually one of "the first"'s worlds. the story doesn't line up with what we know of Chris and the timeline wouldn't work correctly. I believe that the smiling entity increased appearance frequency might be because it is no mad at Andrew for invading one if his worlds.
