09/19/2023 @Ethan-lx1vv: @thatdogewithvr It does appear to be trees. Minecraft can be weird when first loading in, and it may load some geometry first before other stuff. Those shapes match with what trees would look like at that angle, when first loading into the world. If they were entities, well, they don't match the theme of any of the other invaders. They were probably trees.

09/19/2023 @fridaykitty: @Bogd66Top as someone who has played minecraft since 2014 i can clearly see that those are trees. there are no entities TO load, and i seriously doubt the creator of this ARG would have paid THAT much attention to the technical details of minecraft's world generation algorithm and draw in any creatures at that exact moment. it's just trees. minecraft does this. this is normal.
09/19/2023 @Ethan-lx1vv: @Bogd66Top Just for you, I downloaded minecraft alpha 1.0.11 and loaded up several minecraft worlds back to back. I can verify, with 100% certainty, sometimes it does that. It is a semi-rare occurrence, but it happens. Actually, it doesn't even have to have trees at that specific location, it appears that when you first load into the world you are at some other location, then are teleported to the actual spawn. Or, at least, that's my theory why I see stuff when first loading in that doesn't appear to be there when fully loaded.
09/19/2023 @fridaykitty: @Bogd66Top it appears to be the terrain around the spawnpoint of the player. since the clouds seem to change position, it's likely that the player view initially appeared deep below ground as the terrain loaded, perhaps at world origin (x0 y0 z0), before snapping to the loaded terrain around the spawnpoint you see generated there.

edit: ah yeah i got it to happen as well. the low frequency of it happening makes me think that the spawnpoint might need to be close enough to world origin for it to appear.
