"[1] was pretty reclusive after we disbanded, but luckily that old hard drive I talked about had his sessions recorded too, so I figured this one might pique your interest. Recognise that world?"
"I'm sure that if you went to the site you'd have seen the error shown in the video, and to nobody's surprise it's all because [0] tried to force his vision of "Adventure" on the Hub concept again, which is why we started with a more, so to speak, open variation that was accessed via holes in bedrock. He just got fed up with, and I quote, "us morons" and decided to code things his own way again. That happened so often in relation to the Hub specifically, in fact, that [5] made a special track that would play if something went wrong in the area, that was plenty fun to hear after almost every single addition of his (though I wasn't without fault either)"
"Nonetheless, it's really saddening that after [2]'s death in 2014, [1] cut any contact with the team whatsoever. I wouldn't call him a friend, but he was far from unpleasant and always tried to get some more creative freedom for us."
"Though I've heard he might have been in contact with some of the developers that went on to work at Mojang, so I'll keep looking for a way to bring him here."

11/06/2022 @omcogaming50: Wake up babe,a new internal footage video has dropped
11/06/2022 @anonymystical4413: IMPORTANT ASPECTS:
1. Dev1 was on Xcorcist’s world in the Lilypad part of this timeline, but the last time that world was seen was when DJP and Xcorcist were kicked for breaking the rules of the beta, which was when Lilypad was more like classic Minecraft
2. Dev2 died in 2014, and someone has been impersonating him.
3. There is a hub entrance underneath Xcorcist’s house/hill/island thing
11/06/2022 @mimi4plus3: The "someone" who's been impersonating Dev2 is just a (I think) meaningless comment by a commenter with the same name on one of their videos. I don't think it's that important as it's just some random gamejacker most likely.
11/06/2022 @anonymystical4413: @mimi4plus3 I’m pretty sure the dev2 impersonator was mentioned in the description of one of the videos tho
11/06/2022 @joshua21247: @anonymystical4413 It was mentioned in "sunrise". "someone who's not with us anymore" implied death already but we now have a year
11/06/2022 @user-leet37598: @mimi4plus3 have you seen "Sunrise" and its description?
11/06/2022 @your-cow-is-ready-to-downl5448: @mimi4plus3 wait then who is samurai2001?
11/06/2022 @orbic521: @anonymystical4413 It could have just been poking fun at someone trying to gamejack so it feels more realistic; in a setting like this if the arg was real someone would definitely be called out in the comments lol
11/06/2022 @SuperGamersgames: Thank you, good sir, for imparting us with this info. :)
11/06/2022 @scyrulean: okay, haven't been keeping up- what is the lilypad part of the timeline?
11/06/2022 @your-cow-is-ready-to-downl5448: @scyrulean Have you seen Discovered?
11/06/2022 @scyrulean: @your-cow-is-ready-to-downl5448 i thought i did. apparently not.
11/06/2022 @your-cow-is-ready-to-downl5448: @scyrulean read the discription
11/06/2022 @reltso2236: The hub entrance is an iron door which has already been seen before where exorcist found one
11/06/2022 @xazvv: i have a recording of dev1 in my world today speaking to me and i have some personal information about him who he works for his gender and some of his orders
11/06/2023 @RinchoSchale001: These Versions is Mojang write? I Cant Believe it
11/06/2023 @katystang5412: Dev 2 (at the time of this comment is around) was probably a player judging by the video collection video in the “how to play offline in lilypad QA” video
11/06/2022 @kabanfriends5764: That's a very informative bug report:
Subject: "Hub Door spawns in illegal location"
Description: "Hub Door spawns in illegal location"
11/06/2022 @Chloroxite: Steps to replicate: Find a hub door spawned in an illegal location
11/06/2022 @greenbeepm: Summary if anyone is too lazy to listen: Hub Door spawns in illegal location
11/06/2023 @minecraftclips8135: i think a hub door spawned in an illegal location
11/06/2023 @TheEndOfNether: that bug report sounds like something i'd say to myself on df. did not think i'd find kaban here.
11/06/2022 @Kykof: Even shows old 2006 - 2010 PC specs at the end in the crash, this is great.
11/06/2022 @RiffyADiamondInTheRough: ITS the new tech man it's amazing so ofc it will crash bc yes
11/06/2022 @synexiasaturnds727yearsago7: It's a Vista with probably low-end hardware, it's gonna crash more than a blind driver
11/06/2022 @vadiks20032: you guys in the replies don't get the point
the crash was due to the damage under water in the hub. it's not because of hardware. it's because of the game bug
11/06/2023 @RezoA: @vadiks20032 I don't even know how you don't know the concept of a "joke". Are you even a human?
11/06/2023 @vadiks20032: @RezoA i dont know why my comment 8 months ago looks so passive aggressive but yeah i just wanted to point out the damage under water crashes the game for the vid
11/06/2022 @SharpMaxwell: wow they even went to the extent of showing old pc specs. really high effort stuff here
11/06/2023 @ColinRBLX: makes you wonder
11/06/2023 @bounceysteve: @ColinRBLX :flushed:
11/06/2022 @kleinguy1707: I like how this series dives into the effects of the uncanny valley. They make Minecraft look different in a way that triggers our brain to feel creeped out in a different and refreshing way. It makes someone creep out because of random textures
11/06/2023 @claymore339: this is by far the best thing about this ARG, its eerie and creepy in a very subtle and believable way
01/06/2024 @SEBithehiper945: And the thing is if this was normal minecraft and we saw our universe's minecraft, we'd feel the same way
11/06/2022 @yellow64: How nice of [1], looking over xorcist's world while they're not present.
11/06/2023 @jacobwilks9204: The devs did the same with ORBL's world.
11/06/2022 @squabbledOwO: hub was probably flooded since the door they used to enter the hub was underwater, which carried over to the hub. it seems as if this was intentional to try and represent your world more in the hub. the crashing once they ran out of oxygen was most likely a bug, as you can see there was an exit to that underground sewer... thing.
11/06/2022 @EbolaGranola: RETURN OF THE OG STAIRS WORLD YYEAAAAAH BABY GOOD TO SEE YOU
11/06/2022 @hiphyro: you are doing god's work
11/06/2022 @joshua21247: Major info from what i can tell: (sorry for the wall of text)
it seems to be nothing special in the video aside from it taking place in the same world as "version 6" and NOTABLY having the same iron doors that appeared for a few frames before the error popped up cementing itself (with the version date as well) as being after that video
The description seems to be the main aspect, I'll just list some the main things i noticed that it mentions:
It reveals the death of [2]
it reveals a possible hard drive of "sessions" which could lead to more discoveries
it reveals a special track (which is likely heard in the video in the flooded hub)
I will edit this if i am corrected or i find more info, thanks!
11/06/2022 @_memoryleak_: Pretty sure the special track is heard during the underwater Hub glitch section, specifically because the description states it was heard whenever something went wrong in the hub.
11/06/2022 @Arfinateor: Love this arg has that nostalgic old minecraft vibe
11/06/2022 @yes9998: what arg means?
11/06/2022 @user-jn1xw2mc7j: @yes9998 alternate reality game
11/06/2022 @AlexanTheMan: Interesting how Xorcist's world has been left mostly untampered with. The iron door from the Version 03 video seems like the same one dev1 is taking here
11/06/2022 @freddyandfoxy7526: More of this ARG let's go.
11/06/2022 @anonymystical4413: @jimmybean420 it is also technically an ARG, since the community does interact with it (the playable JARs, etc)
11/06/2022 @nevemnincsen8396: It's so well made might as well call it real
11/06/2022 @therecyclist_: This is so underrated this might be the best Minecraft arg ever, this needs more attention!!!
11/06/2022 @exiao3549: Just like to say I absolutely adore the concept of the hub and I wish it was something you could do in the main alpha builds
11/06/2022 @user-leet37598: Few questions
Why would hub itself be flooded? is it being generated ALONG with the world?
Was there somebody else beside our [1]? (if that is the player we see)
How was the hub door found? was its location known before? if so why submit the bug only now?
And why there is no proper description? are the reports discussed later or is our player that incompetent?
11/06/2022 @MrRhombus: The hub is flooded due to the illegal spawn location I presume
11/06/2022 @squabbledOwO: hub wasn't flooded, just that specific hallway. my theory is they intended a personalization feature in which the biome the door was from, the area around your door would be customized to that. chat was disabled, so they likely were working on other ways to connect with other players.
11/06/2022 @jacobwilks9204: The door down in the water was found in version by Xorcist in version 3
11/06/2022 @cozmoetic: Isn’t Xorsist a beta tester sorta thing? He probably found it and submitted it to the devs
11/06/2022 @Mari_1128: Xorsist and Dev [1] aren't the same people, I'm sure Xorsist was banned previously for distributing the jar files when the devs said you shouldn't.
11/06/2022 @squabbledOwO: @cozmoetic Xorcist wasn't a beta tester, they were using a leaked build and got banned from alpha 1.0.16 for a month as seen in "consequences"
11/06/2022 @cozmoetic: @Mari_1128 I didn't mean that, sorry for the poor wording. I just meant that Xorcist might've said something to the Devs and Dev1 came to confirm.
11/06/2022 @cozmoetic: @squabbledOwO Ah I missed that, sorry.
11/06/2022 @Mari_1128: @cozmoetic Ah okay
11/06/2022 @hiphyro: @squabbledOwO it could act as a way to see what you're like, getting into, when you go to another person's world. it would suck if you entered a door just like any other and suddenly you were deep underwater and at risk of drowning. so the hub is edited to fit the output.
I still hope we can eventually explore the hub ourselves, even if it doesn't connect to any other world.
11/06/2022 @authurstretchygreenthing8464: We've actually seen that door before, it's just that it was many videos back. I can hardly remember which one it was, but I wanna say it was during Xorcist's point of view when he was looking around his world for weird stuff happening, and we briefly saw a hub door underwater. And this was long before they were revealed to be hub doors.
11/06/2022 @razi_man: Whenever there is a new update on Minecraft: Lilypad, I will come to see it.
I wish this becomes successful, I want to see this get the love and attention it deserves.
11/06/2022 @Boat_Sponge: Bless this arg
11/06/2022 @peterbruck3845: Holy shit. This video makes me feel nostalgic for the old versions of Minecraft. How free and open it was before.
11/06/2022 @richp4698: I find myself really enjoying the alternate versions that have been provided better than the most recent update. I really hope this becomes it's own full fledged fork/mod down the line cause the current changes have me playing and exploring alpha again.
11/06/2022 @hiphyro: right?! im a little saddened that this will likely every just be an arg and stop when itll stop, though I suppose we wlll still have to see. the whole weird old nostalgic vibe/loose ties to nordic mythology or nordic cultures in general/the hub by itself honestly/uncanniness is INCREDIBLE.
11/06/2022 @Phaseparagon: The description of Internal Dev 1 brings up that they bought the authenticator from Mojang and Developer Preview says that one of the goals of this branch was to show off features in an attempt to get the work accepted by Mojang and Version 13 makes them out to be a dev team for RubyDung (Minecraft's predecessor).
So to me it paints a picture of (0) buying the resources to work on a variant of the game along with his team who (presumably) originally worked with Notch on RubyDung, in an attempt to prove to the actual Mojang that the concepts that were abandoned could work and should be put into mainline Minecraft.
This projected was stalled by (0)'s ego and urge to feature creep and collapsed with (2)'s death. But someone has kept the project going since then to strange results...
11/06/2022 @Bobbies1: Also notice how The bug report is the same as the one in the Bug Tracker page on their website
11/06/2022 @hiphyro: idk if it was the same bug report, i think its just that dev1 seems to be the dev whos submitting most of the bugs, probably the team's main internal playtester/debugger aside from the recruited playtesters
11/06/2022 @quietsamurai1998: As an IRL software developer who has to deal with the occasional support case, it caused me physical pain when the bug report was submitted without attaching the crash dump or log files
ARGHHHH IT EVEN SAID TO ATTACH IT AS A FILE AT THE TOP OF THE CRASH LOG!
I know this is an ARG, but HONESTLY! Please, for the love of god, attach your log files and crash dumps whenever you're filing a bug report.
11/06/2022 @hiphyro: on the other hand i suppose since it was on a work computer that was recording 24/7 as said in the description of another video if they really needed it, [6] (guy who was seen in another internal footage video) could just ask [1] (guy who seems to be submitting the majority of the internal bug reports as seen in the same internal footage video i just mentioned on the bug fixing website) for the recording from his computer and take a look at the crash log there... however it doesnt seem like [1] scrolled down far enough to see the actual section where the crash happened, when they ran out of air in the hub x_x but at least they know what happened from looking at the gameplay footage itself i suppose. and if we're talking about technical stuff i like that they went the lengths to include 2010 era pc specs in the crash report :)
11/06/2022 @rootbeerfan1234: I survived 100 Days in Minecraft 1.0.16 !
11/06/2022 @your-cow-is-ready-to-downl5448: which subversion?
11/06/2022 @hiphyro: god please no
11/06/2023 @ItsYee64: Game crashes by drowning
"Hub Door spawns in illegal location"
"Hub Door spawns in illegal location"
Game Dev of the year.
11/06/2022 @TheMinecraftWebseriesContainer: yoooo, new alphaver upload
banger
11/06/2023 @rubinolas6998: Kinda eerie how the game crashes JUST as he's about to start drowning
11/06/2023 @BobbyFluffy: Something I've noticed in the crash log, unsure of whether this will be helpful for solving anything, but:
The log states that the base version of the game (i.e. Minecraft) being used is 1.1.0 with 16.05_11 being the extension. Maybe the fact this version is built off of 1.1.0 is significant?
11/06/2023 @yeetusdeletus8565: It's weird that the bridge that vanished on Xcorcist's world has returned now that dev1 stumbled across it
11/06/2022 @jonny11bonk: Oh yes, finally another masterpiece to watch. 🥰
11/06/2022 @c.o.y9418: Today, we marked the 1st Anniversarry of this Channel :D
11/06/2022 @mewnani: Minecraft's latest update is terrible, but hey at least this one isn't! It's intriguing to see the Hub flooded like this; was it supposed to be randomly generated like the Overworld is?
11/06/2022 @mike309game: great to know they're adding directx support to minecraft
11/06/2022 @Bananappleboy: 1:07
Gasp, well I'd be dead'd, it is DEV 1 OMG MG GOSH AAAAAAAAA
11/06/2022 @loczek_granie9357: i think everyone here would love to play this
11/06/2022 @sebasvegab3720: Why are they using the old xorcist map???
11/06/2022 @Kallichore09: They're devs. They can access other peoples accounts.
11/06/2022 @sebasvegab3720: @Kallichore09 oh ok
11/06/2022 @ronin4307: I'm sorry to hear that Dev2 died.
11/06/2022 @Astralpaces: who knew that internal footage 3 was the final internal footage video
11/06/2022 @goodmapperr: Babe wake up, new internal footage
11/06/2022 @Bobbies1: ITS TIME BOYS!!!
11/06/2022 @pablobogopablogames2270: Something is BOND to happen.
11/06/2023 @iPhone7Owner: This is version 11, the video is 1:11, Music disc 11 is 1:11 minutes and seconds long.
11/06/2023 @b3nj4m1nyt: bro got that win vista business 🔥
