11/06/2023 @Cavitt: Video 4 is utterly groundbreaking lore for this series. I cannot believe they’d include something so insanely clever.
11/06/2023 @KorekFrost: It’s truly one of the videos ever.
11/06/2023 @Ale-Y: There was a very early video where one of the testers did a d on someone's world, so probably it was the same guy, so its canon
11/06/2023 @DinoGamer07: I agree
11/06/2023 @RConTRSMC: it also has 3 dots in the name, pretty nice joke
11/06/2023 @theminiyosshi2901: I like how there are “…” after the number 4 in the description
11/06/2023 @emerald1337: Yeah, it's so scary
01/06/2024 @Fog799: Whats the point of it jokes aside
03/06/2024 @danielyoutubechannel407: amazing mike quality too
11/02/2024 @apro8723: ikr!!!
11/06/2023 @TheTimurQ: Video 4 is an unmatched masterpiece in environmental storytelling and voice acting performance. It belongs in Louvre. Groundbreaking
11/06/2023 @AlexanTheMan: I had no idea Micheal P had access to R4
11/06/2023 @liminalityy_: @AlexanTheMan nah bro its Micheal Z
11/06/2023 @Fog799: This proves how smart alpha ver is they put In vital lore Video 7,6 and puts a funny haha in their to put 90 percent of gen z off the huge lore that’s smart
11/06/2023 @LLLexen: Louvres*
11/06/2023 @Fog799: @liminalityy_ 😂
11/06/2023 @VanilloOfficialYoutube: @AlexanTheMan it aint micheal p bc micheal p doesnt swear
11/06/2023 @AlexanTheMan: @VanilloOfficialYoutube I was joking

11/06/2023 @Fog799: I died from fear when video 4 began
11/06/2023 @Fog799: Losophy what u mean
Edit i get it now ( i shows that herobrine is probably either a dev of this version or the myth exists in this version )
11/06/2023 @haazmat: This really does feel like an alternative history of Minecraft Yt videos.
11/06/2023 @sola_is_chilling: Specially video 4,that pulled my heart strings
11/06/2023 @shadowdoomrobotnik: @sola_is_chilling frrrr so groundbreaking
11/06/2023 @larryhill212official: video 4 keeps me up at night
11/06/2023 @profanity25: nobody"s talking about this but at the end we are told its near christmas 2011 which means we are now canonically past the official release of minecraft
11/06/2023 @sboy2044: I can’t tell what exactly you mean by this, but the time the videos are uploaded to the channel is the same as our universe. Basically the people operating the channel are trying to rediscover the past.
11/06/2023 @Fog799: Their probably not talking bout it bcus video 4 is haha funny
11/06/2023 @cyanenergy: additionally, video 1 seems to have been recorded on august 2011, which was right around the time where version beta 1.8 was in development
11/06/2023 @Fog799: @cyanenergy wait look at 17:26 the version
11/06/2023 @TheTimurQ: 11:23 this guy has full 2007 JoJo Bizarre Adventure movie, that irl is considered lost media and has never been released to the public. Why???
Edit: actually, he has a lot of lost games on his PC too, like Mario 128, Sonic Xtreme, Taiwan 2001 and Yume Nikki Solitude. This man is really something. Does this mean, that in AlphVer Universe all other lost media objects exist?
11/06/2023 @guydoesthings7580: There also was a video on how to fight the 17th colossus in an earlier video
11/06/2023 @TWLSpark: These japanese titles are probably obscure games or media, too, but beyond what I assume to be SM64 DD (a supposedly unreleased title), I can't really tell what they are.
There's also dotflow up above, but I dunno enough about the game to know if that version is also lost or something like that.
11/06/2023 @TheTimurQ: @TWLSpark it’s a Yume Nikki fangame that really exist, but... Version 0.08 was (according to wiki) released on May 4 2010, but since been deleted and currently is not available to download.
I think it’s either to establish a timeframe when Video 6 was recorded, or just as a continuation of “lost media” theme
11/06/2023 @rambojoe1: theres also plants vs aliens, which was one of the original titles for plants vs zombies while it was still in development
11/06/2023 @aliangel5007: @TWLSpark can't get a solid translation on it but one semi consistent translation is ZU so i assume it is meant to be a image of ura zelda (a planned ocarina of time expansion pack) another project that doesn't exist in our reality in any real form.
11/06/2023 @ev-topia: @TWLSpark Maybe it was that cancelled Mario 64 sequel for the DD
11/06/2023 @TWLSpark: @ev-topia I don't remember if it was a sequel or a DD expansion, honestly. I just remember SM64 DD being a title that's currently lost, and being debated whether it actually exists in any form or was just a planned project.
Edit: Additionally, that one hm_pd file got me curious and finally clicked, it's the alleged Project Diva demo file. Granted, I'm pretty sure it has been disproven as a hoax, but I guess it's a real thing in the AlphaVer continuity.
11/06/2023 @aliangel5007: HoloKola Those are beta builds. the way the iso is titled indicates that it is a full release (why else would a USA tag be placed?) Beta's aren't region locked,
11/06/2023 @TheCJBrine: I'm a bit confused by UnderBound 2, it seems that was just a joke and not actually the early form of Undertale; I guess in this alternate universe, Toby Fox actually made another hack instead of working on a full, separate game?
11/06/2023 @TheCJBrine: @TheTimurQ maybe, though I'm not sure. It seems he confirmed it was a joke on his twitter in March 2016, responding to people who think Undertale originated as an EB rom hack. Based on other info I found on the cutting room floor, however, he did actually use early screenshots of Undertale when teasing UnderBound 2. Either way though, it's a nice reference in this video :p
11/06/2023 @grafikz: bro probably has that one unreleased taxi driver game
11/06/2023 @cocoonprince: i'm not amiliar with shadow of the colossus at all but i remember one other video having footage of it and comments saying that it was footage of an urban legend 17th-or-something colossus. maybe random joes casually having lost and legendary media is just a running gag and helps establish the whole alternate universe thing
11/06/2023 @ev-topia: @grafikz bro unlocked waluigi in sm64ds
11/06/2023 @Youli_Nikki: Yume nikki solitude isnt a lost media no ?
11/06/2023 @gel-pen-gel-drinker: @Youli_Nikki the version seen in the video is not extant in our timeline
11/06/2023 @wolfcl0ck: should have a flash of polybius and an iso of petscop to boot. All worth a hearty chuckle.
11/06/2023 @Fighter_Builder: He also has a PSP iso of Distrust in his Documents folder. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was originally going to have an even darker tone and went by the name Distrust during early development. It was scrapped, and was later renamed and reworked to be less gruesome.
11/06/2023 @thekeithfulbarrums: That idea of other lost media existing in universe is pretty cool
11/06/2023 @KefkeWren: The other possibility is that it's some kid trying to look cool with fake file names. Or, hey, maybe the Hub doesn't just connect to other people's Minecraft worlds. Maybe it connects to other worlds full stop.
11/06/2023 @uppishcub1617: Its an ARG in the most literal sense. That being a game set in an alternate reality.
11/06/2023 @OddlyDelta: iw4mp, iw4 is the name of the infinity ward 4 engine, probably mw2 beta ?
11/06/2023 @mrparticles8124: @guydoesthings7580 that gives me a feeling of nostalgia, even though I had not known of the game back when.
11/06/2023 @SonicTopaz: @rambojoe1 That Plants vs. Aliens was a bootleg flash game
11/06/2023 @finnkay2832: Bro also has Taiwan2001
11/06/2023 @MinecraftPathfinder-xd5fq: There's also the Copeland Herobrine stream.
11/06/2023 @keinzue: this guy's a huge dweeb, i like him
11/06/2023 @enemigoconlanzadewarioland3653: I think people just randomly having legendary pieces of lost media is just a running gag in the series
12/06/2023 @KasierFF: Also seems like there's a Mario 64 DD in there too
12/06/2023 @epicCoolgiytryhsrfsea: Why are people saying that mario 64 dd is lost, the game wad found years ago.
12/06/2023 @epicCoolgiytryhsrfsea: if you see he has the brocraft herobrine stream, but when they streamed the version they played was on 1.0.17_04, so maybe this was an alt universe where GhostInTheStream streamers used an different version to play?
02/06/2024 @MarBL23563: @rambojoe1 no, thats the name of a very short lived facebook game, that is lost media.
08/06/2024 @HankMFWimbleton: they found the herobrine one lmfao
11/06/2023 @AndrewIdot: Video 4 really touched me. It feels so great to see it every time I rewatch this video. I wish I could meet the person behind it, they seem so awesome and cool.
11/06/2023 @tlpa: Fully Agrees.
11/06/2023 @AndrewIdot: @tlpa Thank you Mark101 from Alphaver.
11/06/2023 @lightningmc-09: ANDREW
11/06/2023 @Fog799: Best mic in Ohio
11/06/2023 @OwenSpahiu: It was so scary my brother died
11/06/2023 @mid____: yo my uncle did too but not in the same way
11/06/2023 @RetroGamingNow: 11:23 Sam has the Herobrine hoax stream by Copeland. The footage has yet to be discovered and is perhaps the most famous Minecraft lost media.
11/06/2023 @AndrewIdot: sam actually seems to have a ton of lost media (some even being unfinished games, which could imply that they exist in this timeline), such as an apparent sonic x-treme iso, a mario 128 rom and a finished super mario 64 dd rom.
it also contains a rom for underbound 2, which was undertale's fake name when toby fox was working on it, although this seems to break the timeline in some capacity, as undertale and deltarune werent even thought of until 2012
but hey, we all make mistakes, right?
all the other lost media in there is mostly documented on the alphaver wiki if you're curious btw
11/06/2023 @ev-topia: @AndrewIdot Wasn’t it was stated in a video that this dev branch was in development until 2014
11/06/2023 @AndrewIdot: @ev-topia the video takes place in 2011, look at the taskbar's time.
11/06/2023 @EbolaGranola: 5:21
I've been dealing with the loss of my dad, so it's really comforting to see such great stairs. Thank you guys.
11/06/2023 @lapfoxie: i love u EbolaGranola
11/06/2023 @arawong6070: stair simp
11/06/2023 @hhbthefella: stair
02/06/2024 @G-Cole-01: O O G H
02/06/2024 @tacofitness1876: can someone explain the stairs joke
02/06/2024 @EbolaGranola: @tacofitness1876 I found the series when it had like 3 videos and 50 views total. In the early videos, it centers around the same base several times. I was kind of pissed off that they didn't have stairs down from their base on a cliff, since getting down from it just had really jank ladders and would obviously give the player fall damage, so I complained about it in every upload. Eventually they uploaded a video where they built stairs to the base, so I shifted to rating how well done the stairs were.
11/06/2023 @TheBread__: video 4 is so terrifying. i literally jumped out of my seat because of the herobrine spotting. video 4 is how you do horror
11/06/2023 @jexami: video 4 is the scariest thing i’ve ever seen 😨
11/06/2023 @teddydietrich586: I think the "debug room" in video 3 was a way for the staff spying on players to
a) monitor the world's chat from there
b) give the spy time to react to a nearby player (they would be alerted by the sound of the obsidian being mined)
c) covertly die (the obsidian would give the spy time to rightclick sign and jump in the lava)
Presumably there was no staff member in the debug room the player in video 3 found, seeing as the sign should have been removed by the spy on the way out
The strange conditions to get teleported there can only be met by knowing exactly how to get there or by freak accident which also reinforces this
Idk what the other videos are trying to say, other than v6 confirming this version of minecraft is online only, and v7 showing a staff member spying on players. v4 in particular seems to be extremely cryptic and disturbing, so I think it in particular needs a better analyst then me to take a look at it...
EDIT: hold up, video 4 shows an alternate herobrine summoner without netherrack, confirming the nether is not in the game
11/06/2023 @aerothallji6514: Likely the feature of the nether was taken out in favor of The Hub for more server to server stability or something.
As it’s likely if their servers were running twice or even triple as many worlds as what can be implied from the existence of The Hub, then those said servers and travel between servers for each World Save and The Hub’s World Save would be a lot more unstable for both player/client, the servers themselves, and the almost seamless server to server connection.
I know of this because more actual modern day Minecraft makes usage of several internal world files, specifically three world files, for a single world save because the existence of The Nether and The End on top of the immediately generated The Overworld makes it where the game has to have basically two more world files stacked upon and connected to The Overworld world file.
Essentially this ARG’s split path development team were and could maybe potentially still be experimenting with something I like to call Server to Server to Client connection or Server to Client to Server connection, aka StStC or StCtS for short.
Ironically I know of a another game that can potentially use this but often times just makes usage of the CtC or PtP with only two world files for a single save.. albeit the files having to run a lot more calculations with one another to make up for constant movement of time and world change via a Seasons feature and a semi-dynamic Weather feature.
11/06/2023 @SuperGamersgames: Wait, but I thought the nether hadn't been released at this point in time. When was it first added?
11/06/2023 @teddydietrich586: @aerothallji6514 That's what I assumed, but it's interesting to see the actual effects of the nether not being added. Considering that even our version of minecraft gets iffy when lots of players are on the same server, they would have to build the game completly differently from OTL mc.
Hell, maybe they tried putting it below the overworld? The spy room in video 3 has an odd red filter over it, which could have been an early attempt to signify "hey, you've dug really deep and have entered the nether now". They eventually realized that this version of the nether was still not viable but decided to keep the spying room below bedrock.
11/06/2023 @mewnani: @SuperGamersgames Alpha 1.2, the Halloween Update.
11/06/2023 @UsernameDoesntCare: i think its fake, doesn't make sense really. feels like something a player would make in the same vein as "omg guys i saw herobrain real" or "how to unlock loogi in sm64"
11/06/2023 @Scrufflord: 11:23 my man just casually drops the fact that he has the modern equivalent of the library of alexandria in his documents folder
11/06/2023 @bettercalldelta: I think that in the timeline of this ARG all those lost media exist
11/06/2023 @TheMinecraftWebseriesContainer: Now this is an AlphaVer moment
11/06/2023 @AndrewIdot: thank you dragon alp haver
11/06/2023 @lightningmc-09: dargh
11/06/2023 @theishiopian68: Video 6 has a FAQ about the project as a whole that you can see if you go frame by frame using the <> keys
11/06/2023 @sboy2044: Could you give a timestamp?
11/06/2023 @IceFireHeartlove: @sboy2044 12:59 to 13:01, on the update log
