Like for me for example... 6 cats, 4 dogs all died in the span of 10 years... Now one of those dogs I loved so much and now hes also gone.... This painting in particular is entitled "The Two-Thousand Yard Stare" and was inspired by the actual physical and mental states he saw the Marines in after major battles. Another painting of his features a Marine whose entire left arm and face are literally melting into red liquid as he runs hunched over in pure shock. Imma be honest, every story people make up to fit with this theme for memes and whatnot cannot even compare to the sheer levels of horrors and soul-crushing despair what this actual work was meant to represent

11/06/2023 @TakeASlice-Music: Hey y’all. It’s been a tough past 2 days. Had a mass shooting where I lived and in the nearby towns. I think 22 people in total were killed, which doesn’t sound like alot, but here in Maine we live in small communities and basically everyone knows eachother. The shooter is dead now. But my heart still aches for the families of the killed and especially the families of the 8 children that lost their lives. All of this was done by one man. I love you all. Thanks for tuning in. 11/06/2023 @Jorcarb: One of my friends had another friend who’s dad was shot, but he said he survived. For the past few days I’ve woken up, and just gotten on a call with my friends. We didn’t have our doors for the longest time because we had felt safe where we lived, but now everything is changed. Not sure what to think of the situation, other than the fact that it was a horrible moment for our state. my parents have been paranoid since the start of the shooting, and now they still are being really careful about public places even after the shooter is dead. Hope all is well for everyone here.
