11/06/2019 @sammiejohnson4679: The violins in this musical masterpiece sent shivers down my spine. Music like this never dies
11/06/2019 @marlilynortiz1351: Sammie Johnson never ever because I'll be here I'm only 12 I have time hahhahaja
11/06/2019 @tacticalfall4505: In my orchestra, the violas and second violins play the sections where you say violins were played. In reality, both violas and/or violins could play that, just saying.
11/06/2019 @aiyanabranch9402: Paul Ryan Castillo in my orchestra cello played that part while violins and violas played the voice
11/06/2019 @tacticalfall4505: Aiyana Branch it’s interesting how parts played can vary in orchestras.
11/06/2019 @phireball.: Paul Ryan Castillo In my Orchestra it’s basically is the same with violas and seconds playing “front”
11/06/2019 @hipsterdoofus1026: It's probably on these comments somewhere but Wikipedia says that the arrangement is influenced by Bernard Herrman's score for Psycho.
11/06/2019 @jms1963: hipsterdoofus, I've heard that as well. It's also the first Beatles song in which none of the four played an instrument.
11/06/2019 @GriphW: The violin is mediocre, if this dreck gives you chills, you must be mediocre as well.
11/06/2019 @hipsterdoofus1026: @GriphW You're too hostile, it's just an opinion, Sir or Madam. Also, it's just YouTube, take a chillpill.
11/06/2019 @kevinlong5392: They don't do it like this no more ....
11/06/2019 @commanderthorkilj.amundsen3426: El L Cooljay The sublimity of this song has nothing to do with technical virtuosity, and everything to do with atmosphere, artistic appropriateness to the mood of the song, and the way it will remain in even your mind, until the worms enter....
11/06/2019 @startracker1082: Sammie Johnson I was your 1000th like! I screen recorded for proof.
11/06/2019 @bernardboka4277: El L Cooljay it is meant to be common. You do not understand.
11/06/2019 @bernardboka4277: It is a music of desolation, spoken to the mediocre
11/06/2019 @stevebengel1346: Paul got the idea of the choppy violin effect from composer Bernard Herrmann, AKA the guy who did the score for Psycho
11/06/2019 @MrMarkstyles: What influenced George Martin was to mike strings very close up, to get the grit of bow on the strings. which was prominent in the stabbing strings of Psycho. Violins were JUST NOT recorded so dry. That and Paul's dry voice, really strikes you, it's right in your face. This technique, added greatly to the impact of this song. The arrangement is brilliant the cimbing and defending lines.
11/06/2019 @riverc.931: It’s mostly cellos that are playing that sound, but there are violins too
11/06/2019 @isetta4083: the violins are great but the cello and bass really make it
11/06/2020 @traderoex1: I almost did when I heard it.
I saw my future
11/06/2020 @gabrielvieira9489: Bodys aching all the time
11/06/2020 @make_a_wish_menace9353: Agreed
11/06/2020 @giuliacannizzaro1910: Body's aching all the time 😂😂😂
11/06/2020 @helenaramos5148: Body is anchin all the time
11/06/2020 @sabinewei3041: ❤❤❤❤
11/06/2020 @ann9747: Sammie Johnson body’s aching all the time...
11/06/2020 @tommyk6719: El L Cooljay 🖕🏻
11/06/2020 @danicahoward2365: I'm learning how to play this on my violin and so I can agree with u
11/06/2020 @deborahkargher4175: My school orchestra does an arranging project then chooses some to play. If not for Corona, we would have played this as one of our concert songs.
11/06/2020 @Kreb99: They were inspired by the movie Psycho for this track
11/06/2020 @bussymaster13: This song makes me wish I could play string instruments
11/06/2020 @danicahoward2365: @bussymaster13 they are hard to play at first and there is a lot to learn
11/06/2020 @ZoltanHOD: The violins have a more than passing resemblance to those in 'Psycho' - maybe that's where your shiver comes from
11/06/2020 @okay600: well let's pray all the band members do <3
11/06/2020 @tomisalomon: Hey! I made a transcription of this whole arrengement and it's on my channel. I searched for this score for a long time and didn't find it, so I listened to this recording and wrote my own score.
11/06/2023 @darrenattebery7776: Truth
11/06/2023 @frankbarnwell____: And cello
11/06/2023 @blakemarvin: Good song 🎧
02/06/2024 @BradenMcClure-q6k: @GriphW your taste is mediocre 🙄
02/06/2024 @lm6649: If everyone realised music is God, every worshipped god in every religion would become obsolete
03/06/2024 @annajarvis2058: Word up
04/06/2024 @TheGhof123: George Martin was the genius behind the scenes and made this song and many others the great songs we all love and enjoy.
05/06/2024 @Q1964-b3h: Music only few can produce. Look at music today. It's like a swamp
05/06/2024 @catherinecatlover: I totally agree with you!
10/16/2024 @Ali_Bin: Friction
11/06/2019 @ellie8161: My name tag at work says Eleanor. A guy started quietly singing the chorus to this song as I was getting a drink for him. I couldn't complain, since at least he didn't sing the verse where she dies...
11/06/2019 @ayupwhatsthis8339: Ellie McKibben I laughed more than I expected at this. 👍
11/06/2019 @yvngmasionmargiela2623: okay ellie
11/06/2019 @user-kz5vh4it5k: @Ellie McKibben is your profile picture from Neko Atsume?
11/06/2019 @fujibooze3594: El L Cooljay It had nothing to do with her boasting or calming the song was dedicated to her but sure go on and get offended like a little baby that can’t control their anger,You have no thought process?
11/06/2019 @raeleelol: @GriphW
woah buddy chill out 💀💀
11/06/2019 @microdisturbia: Same w me on discord
I even changed my name from 'elly' to 'eleanor rigby' xD
11/06/2019 @mattschannel1502: I would of sang elenor by biffy clyro as I didn't even know this song exsist until I heard it today
11/06/2019 @edwardj.whalen5007: Ellie, what goes on in your heart, what goes on in your mind.
11/06/2020 @shizukagozen777: Aww I think that's cute. 😶
11/06/2020 @eleanormyles2436: My name is Eleanor. This song means a lot to me because i was sung this all the time when i was younger by my grandma (not the part where she dies of course(
11/06/2020 @aaronsito: w a t e r
11/06/2020 @cheneethompson5756: Cool story

11/06/2020 @lynkingbetti: @GriphW how do you feel about this comment? Are you proud?
11/06/2020 @pejer6036: spoilers
11/06/2020 @eddieconversi9295: @GriphW lmao
11/06/2021 @Jimihendrix1834: There is also another Eleanor song from The Turtles. Not David Cassidy but the lead sounds like him.
11/06/2019 @benmurphy4705: Why the hell did Jack Malik never finish the song?!
11/06/2019 @mouldygrapes9500: In fairness, it is quite difficult to remember, especially if you haven't listened to it in a while
11/06/2019 @bribanner8601: Cause he was to busy singing hey Dude😂
11/06/2019 @sanchitverma6013: dont remember the words...
11/06/2019 @rtlthemusician5598: That part bothered me cause if I was the only person in the world who remembered the Beetles, this is the one song I’d have no trouble recreating
11/06/2019 @bribanner8601: @rtlthemusician5598 their was 2 others actually...😂😂😂
11/06/2019 @rtlthemusician5598: Bri Banner I know, I saw the movie last night
11/06/2019 @desvicious502: He didn't know what the fuck Eleanor Rigby did 😂
11/06/2019 @pegleg09able: I think they were trying to show how difficult it can be to REMEMBER all the lyrics to Beatles songs...remember there isn't any way to check it out. He didn't want to be wrong or mess it up!
11/06/2019 @toni929ann: Bruh another movie reference. I can't wait to hear the summer song😂😂😂
11/06/2019 @blairkilgallon8741: Because he finally decided to marry her.
11/06/2019 @nathanmacaulay: Was it just me or in the trailer the scene for the James Corden show it shows a girl next to Jack and he makes a song on the spot but that's never in the movie
11/06/2019 @blairkilgallon8741: Nathan MacAulay Yeah, I’m not sure why the cut it but there was a bit where Cordon asks him to “sing something right here, right now.” So he sings “Something” Get it?
11/06/2019 @doug6886: I finished the song for him on my channel haha sorry for the plug
I will leave now
11/06/2019 @Mezz2408: That was the most important message in the movie. This is such a pure song, such genius of the combined talents of John, Paul, George and Ringo, that it can't be just reproduced out of the top of the head. The force of their creative minds elevated this song to the masterpiece it is and is an example of how utterly unique the Beatles truly were. And it made Jack realize just that in the end..
11/06/2019 @zeldanator71: that movie was fucking garbage
11/06/2019 @marialuisa8916: Just me that didn't like the movie?
11/06/2019 @lukecd734: Because that movie fucking sucked
11/06/2019 @ryanpruner1853: Ben Murphy
I think it’s the movies commentary on lonely people and isolation. The Beatles, the idea and their songs, isolated Malik and the other two who remembered them. They understood who the Beatles really were, so from the start they three were separated from everyone who didn’t. I think it’s the nature of the monetization of ideas, how they can be imitated but never completely captured, which makes people lonely
11/06/2019 @the_crazy_gamer6677: Ben Murphy lmfao
11/06/2019 @Qualimar: I think it was commentary. It is an exceptionally soulful song even for the Beatles and Jack couldn't quite get it right because of a lack of emotional connection - he could n't counterfeit the feelings. That plus by the time he does 'get it' he is in a different place on his way to end up with Ellie.
11/06/2019 @Youukekekenrn: I was so mad that at the end he didn’t remember all the lyrics cause the whole movie he was trying to remember
11/06/2019 @benhickman749: The rice was the problem
11/06/2019 @thema1998: @rtlthemusician5598 How was Yesterday? I have yet to see that movie.
11/06/2019 @EatThan: RTL The Musician
Well he also needs to know all the violin parts
11/06/2019 @worthyo: RTL The Musician Beatles
11/06/2019 @liam9509: I’m dying 😂😂😂
11/06/2019 @mirandadickerson563: Aww, I'm mid-movie and came here to hear the lyrics. Spoiled.
11/06/2019 @emelymurillo8325: @rtlthemusician5598 The Beatles*
11/06/2019 @DottorPivetta: I was wondering why he didn't just search the lyrics on google, and then i realize that he wouldn't find it XD i'm a genius
11/06/2019 @kradlinks2880: If you think about it this is a personal song written about an event that the writer actually experienced and people he actually knew.
So it makes sense he wouldn't know cause he didn't have that personal connection.
11/06/2019 @SCP-Dr_Bright: because he remembered a line to penny lane and got sidetracked lol
