So, the Minecraft wiki wasn't lying when they said the far lands were filled with squid. I know this version and that statement are almost 6 years old, but who cares. Either way, I downgraded to beta 1.7.3 in this video, and installed that version of single player commands. I then bound 3 of my keyboard keys to the "killall squid" command, and spammed them throughout the video. The reason the prompt sometimes says "killed 0 squid" is because I would sometimes press two keys at the same time, and thus the game didn't even complete one tick in that time. But, from what you can see here, the squid spawning algorithm is on overdrive in the corner farlands. The record I have gotten is 402 squids at one time. Jeb must've found a way to make squids spawn like there's no tomorrow while still being able to claim the game only allows 5 at a time. 5 at a time, yeah right.
