it was probably a good idea to put it on the Magical Mystery Tour album instead, which has a more carefree atmosphere
(even though the front cover is clearly quite LSD-induced).
Another track that was planned for the Sgt Pepper's album was "Strawberry Fields Forever", and that track could have worked very well on that album.
