In the realm above the sky, where the angels do fly,
A fallen angel named Cain, did break the rules high.
He descended to earth, with a heart full of pride,
And for His transgression, He was punished, oh so wide.
His wings, once pure and white, were now tarnished with grey,
And his halo, once shining bright, was now cast away.
He was banished to earth, to roam and to stray,
And to learn the value of obedience, day by day.
But Cain, He was stubborn, and He refused to bend,
He resisted the lessons, and His punishment, He would not amend.
He wandered the earth, alone and forlorn,
And the weight of his sin, He could not discern.
The other angels, they looked down from above,
And they wept for Cain, with love and with love.
For they knew that He was once pure and true,
And they longed for the day, when He would be renewed.
But for now, Cain must suffer and atone,
For his rebellion, and his disobedience, all alone.
And so He walks the earth, with a heavy heart,
And the weight of his sin, He can never depart.
