That was such a bittersweet detail. You could really tell what he was feeling, even with the Land of Towers preventing him from saying those feelings audibly.

The story that has been written before our eyes is a story written to perfection, amongst the greatest writings of all time. He's experiencing these emotions and solving those puzzles and losing his mind along with us. 01/24/2025 @terraristit3752: Fully agree - the way all characters feel so HUMAN make this ARG so great. Andrew, Chris, Smiley. All of them seem like real people from the real world who have lived real lives with very real struggles. I think most people can find something relatable in all of them and/or emphatize with all of them. Like, I know Smiley is supposed to be the "villain" of the story, but you can't help but feel a little bit bad for him, even if the things he's done are horrible. Knowing his story, you can 100 % understand why he became the way he is now, and why he's doing what he's doing. Its for revenge, sure, but I feel like its also a cry for help. He CRAVES human connection, but because he's been mistreated and has had horrible self-esteem his entire life, this is the only way he knows how to interact with others. He KNOWS its wrong, because he's been hurt the same way, but he doesn't know any other way to do it. So I feel like a part of Smiley WANTS Andrew to succeed - a part of him WANTS to be stopped. For someone to finally put him out of his misery. But he's too far gone down the path of self-loathing to accept it. That does not, in any way, excuse or justify all the horrible things he's done, but it at least makes you hope that the story will end with Smiley's death for his OWN sake, not because you hate him and want him to suffer even more. Chris is also a very well written, sympathetic but morally gray character. At first, he seemed just as hostile and threatening as Smiley when interacting with Andrew, and he's definitely done some questionable things, like wiping Andrew's memory without his consent, apparently MULTIPLE TIMES (which I'm pretty sure Andrew would not be chill about if he knew), but it geniunely seems like he's been doing it all to protect Andrew, and he did apologize about it in the Christams texture pack video. And after knowing what he's been through in the asylum...God. After seeing that, I honestly feel like the only reason Chris didin't turn out like Smiley was because of his friendship with Andrew. After succumbing to the "Call of the Well," so to speak, Smiley remained as a ghost for revenge, and even though I'm assuming Chris' desire to take revenge on the asylum would have been unbelievably strong after his experiences in "the fixing room," his desire to protect his only friend was stronger. That's unbelievable loyalty and mental strength on Chris' part, and a great display of the value of human connections and the strength of human empathy. Geniunely makes you wonder how many "Smileys" could be avoided in the real world with a little show of empathy and forgiveness every now and then? But, I feel like that's a converstation for another time and place. Sorry for yapping so long, btw, but what I'm trying to say is - I agree with you 100 %. The characters feel so unbelievably HUMAN that it makes you really invested in the story. Its EXTREMELY well written. And in addition to this, the supernatural elements are weaved into the story in a way that is prelevant enough to be interesting, but subtle enough to not take anything away from the believability, and they all tie to the story's symbolism and themes in some way, rather than existing for the sake of being "creepy," which makes the whole story even better, in my opinion. Like, this has to be one of the best ARG's I've watched in a long time. Super excited to see what happens next!

1) I just love how Andrew so sick of being the main character of this arg, it's hilarious
2) Ending is something that make me feel uncertain. I kinda want to believe that this MajorKooky guy is Chris bc of the mossy cobblestone blocks but when I saw this "you're" at 17:40 and remembered that Chris always talks with full words like "You are". Maybe I'm just overthinking tbh

However, MajorKooky's skin at the end did not have any face on it. Also, Smile has never needed to conceal his face in past videos, so I don't see why he'd need to do it now.

Ofc this seemed to be touching reality especially with Andrew’s sanity and the stuff with Everett and Chris. I think it’s interesting that there is indeed similarities between Andrew and Everrett. 01/28/2025 @TIBKProductions: So Smile/Everette's only good friend (other than his late dog Barny) was this Oliver person, whom I have a hunch is the headless guy from "It All Comes Leaking In". After looking at the signs, it is implied that Smile/Everette was a victim of domestic violence from his father, and his mother probably committed suicide because it was too much for her ("no wonder your mom left you" from the griefers in "What Friends Are For"). Either that, or Smile/Everette's father killed her (notice how the bow at 4:07 seems to have been used). When Smile/Everette looks out from the window at 3:26 he is probably trying to think back to happier times.

1) Really love the piano sounds in important places super cool.
2) Andrew being very shaken and laughing at everything as a coping mechanism is super realistic.
3)The part woth the pop up window was actually scary i really liked that.
Overall very big improvement story wise but not my top favourite episodes still great job man Keep em coming

All this time, Andrew has been exploring these maps and worlds, and its like he says at 8:57, someones messing with him, and for what? But at the end, Chris finally returns, filling Andrew with hope of returning further, and reminding him that he's not alone.

01/27/2025 @izy66: I really don't trust the guy at the end. He looked like the Shadow Chris, but what throws me off is the fact that he says the bones made him a little stronger. Didn't the bones make Smiley stronger? That's what Chris told us. He never mentioned that they'd make him stronger, only Smiley. It was also established that Smiley preys on the nostalgia and the way it gives Andrew comfort. In a previous video in that water place, the things without a head were 'said' at the end to be a part of the Smiley, so I don't know if it's too far fetched to assume that Smiley can take on different forms or at least have these kind of minions do things for him. Smiley isn't stupid - he knows Chris and he knows his block of preference, as much as he knows how to manipulate Andrew into thinking a certain way or mentally torturing him to be more susceptible and stuff. Smiley is intelligent, after all, and that means he can learn and adapt. He'd catch on to how Chris is acting towards Andrew and it wouldn't be unlikely of him to imitate this behaviour to trick Andrew. As for the way Shadow Man speaks at the end, it's still.. off. It's as if something is attempting to mimick the way Chris has talked to Andrew via the signs throughout the series; with proper grammar, punctuation etc. This one was different, and if I'm not completely tripping we've only ever seen Chris not use grammar when he was in a rush or panicked (in his journal). Like Smiley's journal said before, don't trust anyone.
In conclusion, the ending seems too good to be true, and I feel like Andrew has fallen into a trap. We'll have to wait and see what the next episode reveals, but I'm sure it can't be good.
