This wouldn't have been nearly as anxiety-inducing if it wasn't for the ambiance in the Labyrinth, that really did the trick for me. Good job with the composition, Andrew! The ending song was also fire. Also, a very omnious message from Smiley at the end - very contradictory to the happy sounding ending song - which makes me a little worried for Andrew. And that journal by Chris was also interesting! I wasn't expecting so many new lore-drops in a single episode. What is the deal with the Labyrinth and the "Eye?" What is this "potential" Chris was talking about? And what is the "larger" thing Smiley mentioned, that the bones are supposedly a catalyst for? Damn it, after the cliffhanger of last episode, I was hoping to finally get some answers, but now I just have so many more questions! Oh, its gonna be agonizing to wait for the next episode, but if the ARG keeps progressing the way it does, I know its so going to be worth the wait. Super excited to see what happens next!

02/28/2025 @lorj6360: People in the comments are saying how anxiety inducing this episode was and how well done the atmosphere was and all that. But I believe that the reason this episode worked so well was that we care so much about the main characters. I FELT IN MY BONES how scared Andrew was while he was running all throughout the tunnels. And I genuinly felt very happy for him when he came out and exclaimed: I did it! All of that really contributed to that anxiety people are talking about.
Truly amazing work. Also, why are you so good at acting? Seriously, did you take classes at one point or are just that talened? Even I can't act that well and I took theater for several years!

02/28/2025 @doodle-boy: I cannot praise the music and sound design enough! I have said it before and I will say it again, but Andrew is killing it when it comes to the sound in these videos. The sound alone kept me gripped throughout the whole video, without words he was able to communicate a tense atmosphere and sense of being chased. You didn't have to see the monster the entire time to feel paranoid and that was largely impart to the sound design. As we get closer to the end of this series Andrew has definitely developed a sense of style and story telling that is absolutely admirable.

There are so many possibilities for where this can lead, but im just happy to enjoy the ride and see whats to come. What is the labyrinth? What are the bones for, really? What is it that Chris was building? The emotion and strength of the already standing plots makes me forget how much is left to learn. And i absolutely adore that. ❤

Not that I want this series to keep on going past the original story but that it would’ve been so abrupt with no resolution with the bones and the antagonist still active and Chris absent besides the note.
Nonetheless this is probably the best episode. Maybe the finale won’t actually top this if it does. The majority of the video being silent with no dialogue and only a few sentences spoken at the end. We are so used to the commentary and this one takes away that element and made it so powerful with only the music and white noise ambiance accompanying it. You can make powerful things without the need of spoken dialogue ie just simply a few sentences.
Andrew may have got back to his original world. But it isn’t as easy escaping thinking you are now free.
