09/06/2024 @frozhq5899: this series is prolly one of the better stories mainly cause of the plot twist, so much stress and anxiety and for what? It's two confused people in a world, Debase probably saw what the kid was doing and wanted to help him, but his appearance and his method of helping made omen scared. Omen thought the creature was trying to hurt him, so when he saw the monster have empathy, realizing Debase is a mob not meant to exist and after the advice omen's friend gave, quite literally, OPENED his eyes to Debase. The end with 'rest easy debase' was a fantastic touch to the ending of this story, it's not the typical "big monster want to kill me", it's a story about two scared entities in one world wanting to do understand each other but too afraid too, once Omen understands that Debase isn't supposed to exist, he did the right thing by deleting the world, putting Debase to rest. The story is a beautiful definition of "Don't judge a book by it's cover"

For me, I think that debase was lonely and just wanted to have a peaceful life. When omen came, everything changed, it's not that debase wanted to harm him, debase and omen just wanted to know and understand each other.
