Perhaps the person in the cave is someone we haven't met yet due to the different tool placement in the hot bar. Anthony from left to right goes sword, axe, pic axe, shovel, then open slots the rest of the way. Gold has 5 spaces for open slots then sword, axe, pic axe, shovel. Cave dude has picaxe, sword then open slots.
then again i might be looking to much into things due to in "for Anthony" the 7th slot is favored for torches and it is the same here. but just something to chew on

The entity appears in both GoldMario's and Anthony's footage, which I've deduced into the guilt carrying over to Mario. We never actually see the entity itself clearly, however something that I noticed is that the entity never killed either of them, and more or less could just be a hallucination and the thing that pushes Anthony into the pit is more likely a mob.
Based on context clues, my theory is that Anthony was dying and there was nothing anybody could do about it, but they also kept some sore of dark secret from Mario which they were too scared to tell. However the guilt kept returning to them and they could never ignore it, no matter how subtle the indicators were. The text at the end of this video could be guilt reinforcing his feelings of self-hatred
I also have a theory where Mario was the reason why Anthony was dying but not dead yet as evidenced by the video dates, since the entity also shows up when they play the game. Perhaps they also withheld this information from Anthony, but it always lead to his guilt taking over. The torches disappearing could be a representation of their guilt slowly but surely consuming them in darkness, where the only thing preventing them from going into total darkness, is the final torch, representing the friendship that still exists. Not wanting to confront the inevitability, GoldenMario logs off before the last torch dies, not wanting to think about it anymore, but their guilt lingers for as long as it needs
I don't know if the series is as deep as I said, or if it is just a silly ARG series, but I like going on tangents like this, feedback is appreciated

11/25/2023 @argunta4567: These videos brought me back to my youth when I also played Minecraft, of course, they were far from alpha / beta versions, but even so I felt that very quiet fear, the feeling of that very loneliness and phobia of dark caves. Naturally, many of these aspects were caused due to the popularity of Herobrine, but this is only the same element of fear as the look of the game and the soundtrack. Now minecraft actually does not cause such sensations, but thanks to these videos, I remembered what creepy minecraft is. Thanks to the author for this feeling, and I hope that the story will continue!

Ютуб реально полетел у меня из-за этого. Я закрыла сайт, но все равно хотела разобраться и зайдя в историю браузера, нажала на это видео, но выскочило предыдущее видео, а не то что я нажала. Это меня удивило сильнее, у меня полетел комп на несколько минут из-за всего этого, также открылись дополнительные такие же вкладки. Конечно благо тому, что я зашла полностью через ютуб на это видео, всё вернулось на круги своя. Но этот случай был странным для меня, я на некоторое время даже поверила в мистику этого канала.

However, I believe that this was an armed robbery, and Anthony had Killed someone working at or near Mojang, who now haunts the copy of Minecraft. However, The "Entity" could also be a very psychological anti-piracy warning, meant to make the game pirate psychologically tortured from stealing the game, but It seems less likely considering the "entity" knows Anthony's name.
